Happy Flag Day!!

Happy Flag Day! This flag is flying over Ft. McHenry outside Baltimore, Maryland! I took them in 2003 on a trip there. Notice there are 13 stars! The original first flag sewn by Betsy Ross is in this museum being oh so carefully restored. The Today Show is broadcasting from there this morning as they are celebrating to 200 years since the War of 1812. This is the flag that Francis Scott Key wrote the words of the Star Spangled Banner about. Long may she wave over this land of the brave and free. Thanks to all that have fought to defend Old Glory and what she symbolizes....FREEDOM!! Remember to fly your flags proudly today and everyday! Luv, Mat
