One done, one to go!

First eye done on Friday, all went extremely well! I can see, but still have to close one eye to read as one needs glasses and one doesn't....LOL! No problems, no pain, just have to give time to heal properly! Best way to heal is to sleep...so I did lots of that on Friday afternoon, night and most of Saturday afternoon and night.  Feel great, just restricted to no lifting, nothing strenuous...blah, blah, blah!  The fur babies are loving all this "sleeping" time! ROFL!
Anyhow, I have not been on the computer much, just long enough to post on Facebook, this page I did for Penny and Weymond to celebrate their anniversary yesterday. I used the free Valentine's Day gift from Arlene at Baby Bear Creations. Thanks so much Arlene for the lovely gift.
Well, not on too long so will chat more with you later, hope all had a lovely Valentine's Day and got to create lots of lovely memories to share. Hugs to all until next time. Mat

  1. Bom dia, querida amiga Mat!

  2. Good morning, dear friend Matt!
I'm very glad you're well after having the surgery done in one eye. It is very quick surgery and convalescence, but needs a lot of care in the meantime.
You will see that will be great also in surgery on the other eye.
I've done these surgeries for 20 years and am well today.
My friend has a beautiful week, full of joy and peace!
    Hugs, Neli.

  3. What a lovely layout. I'm glad to hear that one of your cataracts has been removed. Once the other one is done you'll feel so good. Just don't overdo in between. The housework will still be there after the second eye is done.

We're having a small break from the snow today. I'll be so glad to see Spring and all the green sprouts that come with it. It's been a long winter.

You stay warm, and have a super day. Hugs, Edna B.

  4. Thought I would stop by and check up on you! Glad to hear that your first surgery went well, and just a few days you will have the other one done. I think I will be having mine done this summer. They are trying to get my eye pressure down and the drops are working. I decided to wait until I go on SS before I have the surgery.
I's been real cold here, so my poor Chinook hasn't gotten her walks like she should.
Take care Mat and I will be thinking of you on Friday.
    Love your scrap pages!
