Happy 2012 Everyone!

It has been spring for a couple of days here (at least temperature wise)! Even had my windows open today! I've blown leaves and picked up 11 bags for the trash yesterday, cannot move too well today...LOL! And as the wind picked up...the leaves began another rain dance and my lawn looks like I've never picked them up...What a mess again...LOL! Anyhow, house is clean, clothes are all washed and put away, starting out the new year right....tee hee! Making pork steaks, cabbage, black eye peas, and cornbread for lunch tomorrow and a few friends will be coming to eat and celebrate with me. Can't wait!
My boss had her knee replacement on Wednesday, all went well, she is at home now, trying to manage the pain and getting used to the therapy! Sure know what she is going through, but her surgery was much less invasive than mine. Glad they have new techniques now. Hopefully, she will be back full and ready to go in about 5 more weeks.
My wish for all of you is a safe, healthy and happy 2012. 2011 was pretty good to me for the most part and I am really looking forward to this new year, lots more happiness and hopefully the ability to do a little more traveling to see my beloved family! Hi y'all!

Such a busy time of the year...constantly on the go it seems, and my vehicle is still broke down...LOL! I'm hoping that will be fixed by the end of the day as I have a couple of boxes to take to UPS and my last minute little gifts to purchase. I need to buy some food to fix for Christmas dinner too. Not enough hours in the day it seems because I have been in a creating mood. Made lots of borders and now making some clusters....LOL! Anyhow, been trying to do a little scrapping too. Weather has been up and down and when it went down, it went down, like a 40-50 degree drop all at once. Been really dreary and gray and foggy, not today, sun nice and bright and warm. Probably back up in the mid 50's today before the next norther comes in the first of the week. Hope all of you are busy (but not too busy) getting ready to make lots of memories of this wonderful CHRISTmas season. Here's a couple of pages I've created this week. Chat with all y'all later! I am about ready to put my packages in the mail, finished my shopping except for a few little things for loved ones here. All my shopping that has to be sent is ready to go this week. That is, if my car will start...think the fuel pump has finally given up...just waiting for a little warm up around here before I tackle trying to get it to my mechanic. It hit 31 here this morning with a very biting wind and that is on top of the rain/snow mix from yesterday. Not supposed to even get out of the 30's today. I know you think that is not cold, but...30-40 degree drop all at once really gets your attention around here. I do NOT relish getting out in it and taking a cold. Nope, will just wait it out, to be back in the 60's by the weekend...LOL! Well, got some work that must be done, so outta here for this time, chat more next time.
