Holy Cow where does the time go? It seems I was just here blogging...NOT! I am behind again, but I do have a good reason (I Think)...but will have to get back with you when I remember what it is! ROFLMAO!!
Really, it is just called LIVING each day and doing as I want! Sounds good to me! I am trying to downsize on some clutter AND I have been trying to scrap more and get caught up with my FAMILY books, etc. But, it seems even when I get up early (4 a.m. usually) and stay up later, there just isn't enough hours in the day. (Could it be that I am just not as fast moving as I used to be?) Very probable!!
I do my housework in pieces, I scrap in pieces, I love on my fur babies more and more, I nap less, I watch less TV and I cook and eat even less, but seem to stay busy, busy, busy all the time! Maybe not as organized as I used to be....or.....it could be that I am on the phone too much...YES, that is it! (at least that is what I am sticking with for now!)
We have had typical (?) spring weather since February and now...Summer is here! I've already had my AC on for over a month (cause I've had to change the filter already) and I've not been able to have the windows opened as much (allergies have been horrific this year)! Lots of wind, wind, wind and a few storms with hail (scared the heck out of fur babies at 3 a.m. yesterday morning). Look at all the tree limbs and leaves it took down (must have lasted at least 5 minutes of constant pounding of nickel to quarter sized hail)!
Everyone of us had to sweep our sidewalks off and the wind blew all day. Got a lot of rain, but not as much as those southeast of us that got a LOT of flooding! This system is moving eastward y'all so stay safe!
OK...here we go with the pages I've scrapped so that they will be in my book!
First, a tribute photo to my daddy who would have turned 101 on the eighth of April, wasn't he a handsome man? This photo was made October 1966 in Johnson City, TN.
RAK birthday page for my friend Diane's granddaughter, Julia!
Birthday greetings for my awesome niece Sebrina! Isn't she a beauty? Gorgeous green eyes!
Jade's school photo for this year...she is getting so grown and look even a beautiful smile!
Pretty and perky miss Ruby's photo for this school term!
And handsome as ever, Jayson's school photo, he loves wearing a tie!
RAK for my niece Amy's SIL Kayla and her daughter Blair just cause I loved the photo of them.
RAK of another photo of my niece Sebrina and her honey Jeffery!
Sweet patootie Annabeth with her cute smile and long curls I just couldn't resist making this one!
And not to be left out, the facial expressions of Eliza (who hates to have her photo taken)!
Celebrating my siblings for National Sibling Day. Love you guys FOREVER!
And yesterday was National Pet Day, just could not leave out my fur babies. Thanks to all the awesome and generous designers that share their lovely work with me. Check all them out by clicking on them on the right side of my page!
Well, got to get my hiney out of this chair for a bit, y'all have a fantastic Easter and remember He is Risen! Chat more with you next time. Hugs, Mat

Ah, the rewards of retirement! Being lazy when we want to! Time does go faster now (or it seems to) and we keep really busy, but darned if we can remember what it was that kept us so busy!!
ReplyDeleteJust enjoy your fur babies and your creative time. This is your time to just go with your own flow.
Your scrap pages are beautiful. These books are going to be cherished by your family.

Aqui temos o fim do inverno, no norte, mas no sul o inverno está apenas começando.
É típico de países com dimensões continentais.
Querida amiga, aproveite sua aposentadoria e tenha um lindo fim de semana!
