Where did April Go?

It's been a short month I think....but maybe it is because I was busy scrapping for Easter and more Spring cleaning inside and outside...and May is knocking on the door (another busy month of birthdays and anniversaries).
It has been an eventful month.  I had an investor come by to offer to buy my duplex (a really good solid one), construction of 2 train depots are in progress in my city with one within walking distance of my home, a new garden home complex about 1/2 mile away and a townhouse complex 1/2 mile in the other direction. This area is really improving, sooooooo...I am going to wait a bit to sell and hopefully, I will get a really good price for this duplex (enough to have money in bank to sustain my retirement)!
This area is very popular with families because of the best school district! There is an elementary, intermediate, high and christian private school all within 1/4 to 1/2 mile radius!
Anyhow, hope all of you had a most blessed Easter and got to spend it with loved ones! Here's the pages I created for the great nieces/nephews and my sisters!
Amy & Michael's 2 gorgeous girls.....Annabeth and Eliza
 Margaret & Lance's 3....Hayden, Calvin & Wayne

Penny & Weymond's 5 grandchildren all in one photo and then individuals with Mimi & Papa!
My brother's daughter' Sebrina with her honey Jeffery, his son Thomas and with her mother Myrl.
This was my sister Kathy and I on Easter Sunday 1957...aren't we adorable? LOL!
 Jade & Ruby & Jayson...Kathy & Jim's grandchildren, Christina & Jason's children!
This is Kathy & Jim's kiddos, Jason & Christina with their 3 and Jeff & Tiff!
Here are a couple of extras I did for Penny of her five grandkids so she could choose which page she liked best...ALL of THEM was her reply...ROFL!

And some for Amy's girls' scrapbooks...some of Easter with the Hawthorne cousins and some of their trip to Atlanta to the Aquarium the weekend before with the Starling Cousins.

Next month is Mother's Day and anniversaries for Amy & Michael and Lance & Margaret and not to mention the birthdays of Michael, Christina, Kathy, Eliza & Me so I guess I best get busy making some more memory pages for my next blog post! ROFLMBO! Scrapping is so relaxing and very rewarding for me and I want to say THANK YOU to all the awesome designers that share their talent making this easier to do!
I will quit for this time, wishing all a fabulous week ahead and remember, make lots and lots and lots of memories to share! Chat more later, hugs, Mat

  1. Yes, where did April go? Although I wasn't really very busy it slipped through my fingers as sand. Well, I had the visit of my niece and it was really nice and I think it got me more steady on my feet, so to speak. I do have more energy floating through my body. Could do with some more, but already happy with what i get LOL.
Oh, nice that investors come to YOU for an offer on your duplex. it perhaps you are right to wati still a bit longer to get the best price.
Was it always in your mind to sell your house and get yourself a nice smaller appartment or something? Well, a good price for your house could be a great step to it.
Hopefully we get some better weather next week. Looks to get warmer, although still rather unsteady. You know, one day 18C and the other right down to 14C again and so on.
saw yesterday evening and also this morning again one parakeet who enjoyed the seed in the birdfeeder. I am happy he found his way here again. Perhaps we will have some more of them a bit later.
Okay, Matt, you take care of yourself and enjoy your scrapping and all you like to do.

  2. Your scrap pages are gorgeous!! Your family will be so glad to have all these memories in print.

We are in the middle of a short monsoon. I'm not complaining though, because we really do need the rain. The upcoming weekend should be really nice though, with sun and warmer temps.

I agree that it is a good idea to wait a while before selling. Property values are on the way up now.

I'm off to make a nice salad for lunch now. You have a wonderful week, hugs, Edna B.
