Just a Scrappin"

I used one of my photos of Amy at the Gaylord in Nashville and added a cluster by Arlene from WRDH's Enchanted Autumn Time Kit so that Amy could play amongst the Fairies and dream of this wonderful vacation.
Miss Maggie in a freebie QP from Lanell at Never Forget Memories entitled Best Friends.
My handsome nephew Lance, his lady love Maggie and their daughter Hayden in a stacked paper layout from Booland designs called Precious
I snitched these photos from Maggie's FB of Hayden in the field with Daddy and Papa. I put her in 3 clusters by Ellen usings RRD kit called Autumn Blaze and used a background from RRD Pink Lemonade kit and the WA is by Donna that I recolored to use on this page.
My gorgeous niece Sebrina in a lovely QP by ScrapdeYas called Natural Orange.
Cutie Patootie Jayson is a fabulous Special Delivery....LOL! I used a kit by AimeeH called Blustery Day and a photo I got from his mom's FB account.
The adorable Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! Top photo I got off FB, she was sighing as she was at the doctors office waiting, the other is one I took in July when we visited. The QP is by Pam LeFore Designs and the LOVE was another freebie with no TOU
Last but certainly not least, Miss Jade in a Masterpiece by Note Scribbles DDD QP Be Creative. I used her class photo from this year that I got from Christina's FB Account.

You know that old John Anderson Song, Just a Swingin', well it  has been running through my brain all day so I thought I should be just a Scrappin' all day! That is exactly what I wanted to do and no one to say I can't so I did! Loved every minute of it too! Hope you enjoy looking at my handiwork. I really want to thank all the talented artists who share/sell their beautiful kits so that we can do things like this. I so enjoy the relaxation of it when I can sit long enough to create the pages. Hope all of you have a beautiful weekend ahead and make lots of terrific memories to share! Until next chat, y'all have a good one. Luv, Mat

  1. Some lovely layouts you've made!
I should do them too, but I just can;t seem to find(or make)the time, and to be true, I lack a bit of practice too!
Well, perhaps one day I suddenly start collecting my photies and make some great layouts LOL.
Hope you soom can sit again for longer time at the computer, why oh why do we have to get such nasty health problems, because we are getting older??? It should be the time we can afford to attend more time to hobbies, but if the body won;t coorporate, damn, then it's no fun.
But we try to stay optimistic, don;t we? Otherwise we better quite right away!
    Have a lovely weekend

  2. Love your pages Mat! And I love reading your posts, your journaling is great. Your back must be a little better-hope so! Mine kills me from standing to long and sitting in my recliner, but for some reason it doesn't bother me much sitting in my computer chair. LOL Thank goodness! I just got back from walking Chinook (Jim went with me this morning), and it's a little chilly out there( 22 degrees right now. Jim decided it was to cold to get up at 4 am and go Turkey hunting this morning. So now he can go and rake leaves while I go get groceries for tomorrows birthday party! Lucky guy!!!!!!
    Have a wonderful weekend.
    Hugs Donna

  3. Your scrap pages are wonderful! My favorite is the "Special Delivery" with Jayson. What a cutie!! I haven't done much scrapping lately either. One of these days, I'll have to get back to it. I'm hoping you're feeling much better now. I agree with Kyra. It's such a shame now that we have the time to indulge in our hobbies, our bodies don't seem to want to cooperate. Ah well, I hope your day is a fabulous day. Hugs, Edna B.
