It's Sunday Again!!

The start of another week, the end of April is knocking on the door,  May and this year is zipping  by at an alarming rate! LOL! Must be because we are all too busy!
Yesterday proved to be a perfect Spring day...started out a little gloomy and overcast with some sprinkles here and there, but turned into a bright sunshiny day with little to no wind in the mid to upper 70's. Soooooo after a scrumptious lunch and visit with Jannette and Mike (and all the kitties), I returned home to wash my window screens and windows on the outside. I got half of them done....before NASCAR started....and hope to finish the rest today! Since I have finished them all inside....the ones I did yesterday sure look sparkling and clear. It's nice to be able to get them done before the HEAT sets in and it is too miserable to be outside!
Seems all my neighbors were out yesterday working on their "gardens" or mowing or sweeping up or something! The neighborhood is looking great!
We had a setback with Kathy on Thursday night, she was taken back to the hospital with shortness of breath and chest pains. Seems she had a mild heart attack. The did some tests....echo cardiogram and then a chemical stress test...some damage, but due to her wound not healed enough yet, they put her wound vac on and are going to wait another month to do a heart catherization (provided she has no more episodes).  She was returned to the rehab center last evening. I have spoken with her, she seems okay, just a little irritated that they will not let her go home yet, but they want to make sure the wound vac is working properly and that she will continue to heal. So we are still praying that she continues to improve!
Christina posted some photos of the kids on Friday and I just had to make this page of them for Kathy! (She so loves them grand babies and they visit her often since this illness). Don't know which one put the lipstick on Jade and Ruby or which one kissed Jayson on the head (probably both of them...LOL), but I thought Kathy would just love this.
I used a kit by Kyra at With A Russian Dutch Heart called Dark Days of December, the frame cluster is from the same kit and made by CT Arlene, the wordart is by Granny Enchanted (slightly recolored) and April the Scrapaholic. I thank all of you generous designers for sharing your lovely work.
Ok, guess it is time to get off this computer...Oreo is TALKING to me (she wants a treat) and I must finish the rest of those windows so I will hush for now. Wish all of you a terrific Sunday and hope you make lots of memories to share! Chat more later....Hugs, Mat

  3. So sorry to hear about Kathy's fall back. Ghee, that was the last thing everybody was waiting for. Glad all seems to be okay for the moment, is a good thing they keep her in hospital for close observation. Although I can understand Kathy she rather be home!
Let's all pray she won;t have another heart attack and that they will be able to do the catherization in few weeks.
You were busy as I read. Also window cleaning, like I did LOL! I am also just half way, but I will wait for a slightly better weather condition to do the front.
Take care, have a lovely day and week to come,
    Hug

  5. Haven't talked to you in a bit, so thought I would check in today. Everyone is busy cleaning in side or out, mostly out. We are getting some nice weather here finally too. Just about to 80 today and just a week ago we got 8 inches of snow. Go figure. Have a great week and don't work to hard on all your chores.
    Hugs Donna
