Good Morning Y'all! Happy Father's Day to all my immediate family members that are fathers...Jim, Weymond, Jason, Lance, Michael, Jeffery....and to friends, even those that are fathers to fur babies! Love you dad while you still have him, cause you will miss him every day after he is gone! Mine has been gone 28 years now and I wish I could just pick up the phone and call him once in awhile. I did manage to make some memory pages this past week for all my much loved fathers...starting with a family portrait of my daddy and his 2 daughters (Me & Kathy/Jim), 2 grandsons (Jason/Christina & Jeff/Tiff ) and 3 grandchildren (Jade/ Ruby/Jayson) . The background/frame is from Miriam's Scraps Black & Gold kit and wordart is an old one from WAWBJ....
Then I did a page for my sister Kathy and her better half, Jim, with their 2 sons (Jason & Jeff) and 3 grandkids (Jade, Ruby & Jayson) in a page using Miriam's background paper and wordart is also by WAWBJ but I can't remember or find who the frame is by.....
Then the page for Jason of him at 6 flags with his girls, Jade/Ruby and Jayson. This cluster frame is from Just So Scrappy (Erica) at My Memories and the background is by ddd at Pixel Scrappers.
My brother (he/Penny and I share same mother, but different fathers) passed in 1996...his daughter is not married yet, but is involved with a terrific guy, Jeffery, who has a son named Thomas that just adores Sebrina, so I created a page for them too, using a cluster by Julie C Designs (at Digital Scrapbooking Studio) and the wordart is by Alybet.
Penny's Weymond (twin sons & Amy and 5 grandkids) looks so good in this frame I created for Miriam's Scraps with background from Booland, Past Treasure, background and stamp frames from Marisa Lerin's free minikit, Captured.
Lance's page showcases him in different activities with his 3, Hayden/Calvin/Wayne ( in a QP created using frames from Raspberry Road Designs Coming Home kit and Wordart by WordArts1SC.
Michael is Amy Jo's hubby and they have 2 beautiful girls, Annabeth & Eliza in this lovely easel frame from Miriam's Scraps on a background by TKing and wordart is by WAWBJ.
I put all these on Facebook yesterday to wish all of them a grand Father's Day with their loved ones. This page I did for Papa (Weymond). He was at Amy's to share Eliza's first birthday when Amy snapped the photo. I just loved it and put it in 2 frames by Neli.
Here it is 5 a.m. on a Sunday morning and I'm sitting here listening to oldies but goldies in country music. Yep, those from the 50's-70's and memories are just flooding in...so soothing to listen to all the songs you know the words to! You know those songs that are advertised on TV from Time Life for $100+ for 15 CDs? Well, I visited the website and copied/pasted the list of songs on them and printed out the list. I checked my music library on my computer to see how many of them I had by the original artists....AMAZING....out of 270 songs on the list (quite a few duplicates of songs by other artist too), there are only 55 that I do not own already! So I spent most of the day yesterday putting them on a playlist in the order of that list. Can you believe I had the most enjoyable day? Today (while blogging) I am making (and listening) my own CDs of them so I can play them in my car or boombox) there's 25-29 songs per CD so I have 9 so far, think I will add some of my favs to make it 10. I have an obvious obsession with music...of all genres/generations. I would certainly have more money in the bank if I did not purchase so much of it, but I can escape the outside (HOT) world (even forget to eat) when I am immersed in my music...LOL!
Well, guess I better get my buns off this chair for a bit and get to moving around some, besides you are tired of all this babbling I am sure....ROFL! Have a terrific Sunday making lots of memories to share! Chat more later on! Hugs, Mat

Heat advisory goes into effect today!
Yep, here it is the 15th of June (half way through the month already) and we have our first heat advisory in effect. The humidity is simply horrible here...not been this bad in quite a few years. Yesterday it was 92F but with the humidity the heat index hit 103F, today it could be as high as 106-107F. Okay, that means I stay indoors with my AC running and I get to scrap, scrap, scrap as long as my hands will allow it. ROFLMBO and enjoying every minute!
With just me and the fur babies around, the house doesn't require a lot of upkeep all the time, so with a little run of the Dyson to get the fur and my hair up, clean the litter boxes and my bathroom, dust a bit, make my bed and feed the babies/wash their dishes...it takes me about an hour of constant moving, then I can sit and scrap (since the storms are out of here for a spell now), read my e-mails, color, watch what I have DVR'd or a Netflix movie or even catch a snooze (since I'm usually up at 4-4:30 am each morning)!
I did manage a couple of pages last week in between the storms and the "baby" sitting of my renters newest addition. On Tuesday, one of their co-workers rescued a tiny, tiny kitten trying to cross the road by itself, so she asked could I watch it until she got off work...you know me, sucker for kitty cats! Mine were not too crazy about her being here, but we managed without anyone getting hurt...LOL! I took a couple of photos on my phone of her and created a page to send to her rescuer. When, her significant other fell in love with "Roxie" as soon as he saw her, they adopted her. She is sooooooo cute and sweet and very affectionate now too! Here she is, in a QP by Fecnikek called spilled milk, isn't she just adorable?
I also ran across a QP by Neli with this adorable Pug, so I just had to create the page for my sweet friend Inez and her hubby Larry as they have 3 pug babies in their household...they simply had a fit over the page when I put it on their Facebook pages! The circle of love around the frame is by Marisa Lerin at Pixel Scrappers.
I also Created a page for my nephew Jeff and his bride of 18 years, Tiffany for their anniversary using the June cluster frame I made for Miriam's Scraps and an alpha I have had for years with no TOU.
Then little Miss Hayden lost another tooth and was so proud of herself for pulling it and not even shedding a tear, she had to share the photo with me and asked for a "special picture" for Facebook! I used a lovely QP by Miss Edna for her special photo that she requested....LMBO! She is such a diva! Not sure who the WA is from, no TOU with it!
Amy had sent me several photos of the kiddos playing together and Mimi just needed a page to show off her sweet grand kids....all 5 of them. This is what i came up with, I resized a frame by Kimeric Kreations and the overlay of the background is from Snickerdoodle at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.
The rest of the week was spent watching a lot of TV shows and grocery shopping, the NASCAR races and then just glued to the TV for info of the tragedies in Orlando....(Christina Grimme on Friday, the Pulse Club on Saturday, and the alligator taking the toddler last evening)....still praying for all those affected by them and for our country to regain some sanity!
Well, time to move around a bit (and a sandwich break) so will close out for this post. Y'all have a fantastic rest of the week and hopefully you will be making lots and lots of memories to share! Hugs to all and I Love You to! Mat

Just Swimming!!
I don't know how to swim....so.....the rain has got to stop!! We had 20 days of rain in May. (Not as many days or as much rain as last year, but a real close second). This morning, we are seeing the sun trying ever so hard to peek through those clouds and my driveway is beginning to dry off....Yay!! I so need to mop my floors, but with all the rain (every day) last week, it was not happening! Today, I think it will happen! I also need to take my car and get all the muddy kitty prints off of it...LMBO!
I did manage to create a bit last week in between the lightning strikes of course! I created a page for my sister Kathy's birthday on the 27th....it's a freebie QP by Carin Grobe Designs called Giraffe Kisses. Kathy collects giraffe's of all kinds and sizes. The photo I used is not very plain, it was made about 1951 or so of her and I.
Then I got this fantastic free frame from Kimeric Kreations that I just had to use, so Jade and Ruby won the honors....they are growing up so fast.
Of course, can't do a page for the girls without doing one for Jayson (Bud) so I extracted him from a photo and put him on a cute scene freebie by Neli at Lugar Encantado Da Neli, does he look at home here?
I used a cute frame from Fecnikek to create this page for Annabeth and Eliza...don't remember who created the paper I used for the background. The wordart is by April the Scrapaholic.
Pretty Miss Hayden has lost a front tooth and I think she is just too adorable not to create a memory page of it. I used a QP titled A Moment to Remember by Bekah E Designs at Digital Scrapbooking Studio and not sure about the WA, I changed the color, but no TOU with it, I've had it quite a while.
Cannot make a page for her without completing the rest of the crew, so here's her brothers, Calvin & Wayne in a page I created using a kit by ADB Designs and a train stamp too since Calvin is gaga over trains right now....LOL! The wordart is by Alybet. Such handsome young men!!
I also created a cluster frame for June for Miriam's Scraps using the Rose (June Flower) and pearls (June Gem) if you want to use it.
It's been fun getting back into scrapping, but with the storms and the increasing deterioration of the carpal tunnel and arthritis, the use of my right thumb creates a bit of discomfort...I know I have to make an appointment with the doctor soon and just get it taken care of! Geez, getting older is not for wimps, believe me!
Okay, I did not get this posted yesterday and last night I got this cute, cute photo from Maggie (sent to me on FB) of the 5 cousins together. You cannot get them to sit still or pose together, so she did a video and screen snapped this shot...just HAD to make another page this morning using it. I used a stacked paper by Studio 4 and a frame from Miriam and redid an old wordart to create it. Penny and Weymond are really blessed by these adorable grand babies. Calvin, Eliza, Hayden, Annabeth & Wayne.
So, guess I had better get up from here, give my hand and bum a rest and get busy trying to mop these dirty floors. That's it for today, y'all have a wonderful weekend making lots and lots of memories to share. Chat more next time. Hugs, Mat
